Sarah, one of our newest #agjinsiders, has been a longtime AGJ fave. And in her #agjeveryday Medallion Signet and new Helium Huggies, she’s proving that wearing a little sparkle can go a long way in feeling good these days. So while we’re staying home, we wanted to check in with Sarah to see how she’s spending her days right now—and share a little inspo along the way.

What's your favorite thing to do alone during quarantine?
It would be a tie between making playlists and skincare. (Not sure that differs much when *not* in quarantine, ha.) Being a green beauty blogger, I can become backlogged with product shipments very quickly so I’m using this time to really dive into new products that I haven’t had time for in the past. I don’t know if I should be proud or slightly mortified that I’m masking literally every day.
What's the one song that you've found uplifting?
Playlists are my jam! (Lots on my Spotify account). It’s hard to pick one, but I love to play “Tondo” by Disclosure and Eko Roosevelt while making dinner.
What have you been doing to stay active?
Well, I have a standard poodle that requires long walks every day regardless if I want to hide under my covers. (And trust me, many days I do.) I also love Melissa Wood’s workouts. I try to get one in every day.
Best book/article you've read during quarantine?
I'm currently reading and loving "The Most Fun We’ve Ever Had,” by Claire Lombardo. Also, in terms of the pandemic, I really enjoy Jessica Yellin on Instagram. A former White House Correspondent for CNN, her motto is “news without noise,” and I very much appreciate her updates on unfolding situations as well as interviews with experts on the matter. She and The New York Times are the only places I check in terms of current events. If I get on Twitter, you can bet I’ll fall down a rabbit hole of epic proportions and that isn’t good for anyone!
Best thing you've cooked?
Chopping has always been a form of therapy for me, so soups and stews are always simmering around here. I recently found this super simple recipe for Lentil Soup and it’s surprisingly delicious! (I tinker with the seasonings a bit - I find sage, onion powder, cumin, and thyme work well in this soup.)
If you could describe your WFH routine in one word, what would it be?
Um, erratic?
If you could describe your WFH look in one word, what would it be?
Well, it’s not one word, but "polished on top, pajamas on bottom." If I ever need to stand up during my video tutorials, I’m in trouble. ;)
One silver lining of being quarantined?
SLOWING DOWN. It’s been so nice to spend tons of quality time with my family, even if sometimes they make me want to head for the hills.
