Go Behind The ScenesWhat went into that gorgeous Domino feature. The village that we brought together to get the shot. |
It's hard to explain the amount of work—and time—it takes to plan, prep, coordinate, and ultimately pull off a photoshoot. It's organized chaos... usually at least a dozen people on set, all working towards a creative moving target. And our latest with Margaret Austin for Domino was no exception.
And because the Domino feature was the big reveal of our newly remodeled offices and showroom in Berkeley, I felt extra personally invested in making this one great.
So we assembled the A team to join us on set and get those gorge and glossy shots that make us swoon.
Prop styling dreams are made of these.
Trying on some lewks (at Dish Boutique + Green organza dress of my dreams c/o Kamperett)
All hands on deck. Glam by the talented Lindsey Smith.
Getting that shot.
Prop stylist extraordinaire Mikhael Romain + AGJ all star Jenel doing the heavy lifting (including painting these vases to match our Moroccan Rug)
The clouds (and rain) finally broke to allow us to get the outdoor shot we'd been dreaming of
